View at Sokcho

Sokcho is a city in Gangwon province, South Korea. Located in the in the far northeast of the country along the coast of the Sea of Japan (East Sea).Sokcho is famous for its beautiful beaches, lush green valleys, waterfalls, Buddhist temples and shrines.

Besides that, Sokcho is famous as the main entry point to Mount Soraksan National Park and includes the area knows as 'Outer-Seorak.' Sokcho also held the 1999 Gangwon International Tourism Expo. In addition to Seorak-san, the area includes a number of beaches, spas, lakes and streams for fishing, and many lodging and leisure facilities to take care of all the visitors.
