Busan Aquarium

The Busan Aquarium adds excitement to the area year-round. It is an ultra high-tech submarine theme aquarium, located at the entrance to Haeundae Beach. It offers visitors chances to experience everything about the underwater ecosystem.

Through the installed acrylic water tank, built for an exhibition-purpose aquarium of 80m in length and curved at the angle of 270 degrees, you can watch the mysterious underwater world, composed of 35,000 sea creatures such as of more than 350 species deep-sea creatures, sharks, reptiles and penguins, right in front of your eyes.The aquarium officially opened to the public in November 2001, about three months before schedule.

The other facilities include a resting place, outdoor park, and parking lot on the ground floor. A simulator, theme restaurants, resting room, and souvenir shop are located on the first underground level (B1), while the aquariums are located on levels B2 and B3.
